Last Day of September

I can't believe it is the last day of September!!! I love this time of year!!! This morning we awoke to a beautiful, clear, cool (55 degrees!!!), morning with the sun-shining. I begin to think of all the decorating that I will be doing in the next several weeks and I get plum giddy. I have a new addition to the Warren family that I can't wait to break out... a new 9' slim christmas tree to add to my other 11!!! The wheels of this mind are just rolling and I would be tempted to put that new girl up and decorate it for October!

Bring on the cool weather! (I may be getting old... I have NEVER liked cold weather).

What's happening in our neck of the woods...

First, thank you again to everyone who has been calling to check on Allison. My sister-in-law emailed me this morning and said they have not received the results on the heart monitor. She is apparently feeling back to normal so maybe it was just some fluke thing.

Lindsey is home sick today... she came home from school yesterday running a fever and she has been running one off and on since. When the medicine kicks in good she is up and playing though. Hopefully it is not the flu, but I guess time will tell. I am taking advantage of the time at home though... decorating for fall, working on a christmas gift project, enjoying the "cool" for south Georgia fall day, reading a little and anxiously awaiting my Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha that Sissy is bringing to me!!!

Update on Allison

Thank you so much for checking in on Allison the last couple of days. Her blood work came back normal and they will get the reading on the heart monitor on Monday. She did start running a fever yesterday, but has not passed out again since Thursday morning. Thankfully, things appear to be normal, but they would really like answers as to why this started out of the blue.

As for now, please continue to remember Allison, Jim, Kim and Jake (little brother) in your prayers.

Hope you have a great weekend.
